Luka Milivojevic praised the team as a whole following Palace's win over Watford on Saturday night, calling the collective the "best player" in the match.

The Eagles' number 28 got stuck in to the Hornets and helped protect the back four as Sam Allardyce's men secured a third consecutive win and clean sheet.

"It's amazing. Three games in a row we've won, we're very proud of ourselves, we're happy," he told Palace TV. "Now we go for the national team break happy - and that's very good for the team.

"That's very important, keeping clean sheets in the game. When you get that you are 50% of the way to a win. They're not very easy to get in the Premier League, but we're doing well and hopefully that will continue.

"It was a strange game," he added. "There were a lot of fights, duels and a lot of set pieces. The fans wouldn't have enjoyed watching that today, they didn't see much quality football but some times the games are like this. We're very proud to win these type of games, when you put your head and legs in there to win 50/50 balls. I think today the best player was the team."

The fans rallied early in the stands at Selhurst Park, creating an atmosphere during the warm up which carried into the match - something Luka was again impressed with.

"The atmosphere was great. We're very proud to have our fans in front of us, the push us and we are happy to give them the win, especially at home," he said.
