Crystal Palace striker Kwesi Appiah has joined League One side Notts County on a one-month loan deal.
The 23-year-old, who has made seven first team appearances for the Eagles, goes straight into the Magpies squad for their clash with Peterborough at London Road tonight.
The deal marks Appiah’s second temporary spell of the season having spent the back end of 2013 on loan at Skrill Premier outfit Cambridge United, where he bagged 10 goals in 17 games to help the U’s to second place in the table.
Appiah will now link up with former Palace midfielder Shaun Derry at the County Ground, after he took over as manager in November 2013.
But before signing his loan deal at Notts County, Appiah also put pen to paper on a one-year extension to his contract at Selhurst Park, which ties him to Palace until the summer of 2015.
The club also have the option of extending this deal by a further two years.
