Nathaniel Clyne's transfer to Southampton has been completed and he makes the move to the south coast after both clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for the defender.
Stockwell born Clyne made 139 appearances for Crystal Palace after coming through the club's successful academy.
Co-Chairman Steve Parish spoke after the deal was completed. "Nathaniel has been an excellent servant of the club and one we worked very hard to keep but it was clear his desire was to move away and we certainly can't complain about the service he's given us, I told him all he owes us now is to show the Premier League how good he is and make us even more proud of him.
"We are also very pleased to have worked constructively with Southampton to conclude the deal before it went to a tribunal.
"We are all working hard behind the scenes to strengthen the squad and will use the right investment to bring in new players as and when we are sure they are the correct acquisitions for this football club."
