Crystal Palace are delighted to announce the signing of Damien Delaney on a free transfer.
The ex-Ipswich centre-half has signed a short-term contract with the club and goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's match against Sheffield Wednesday.
The 31 year old spent three years at Ipswich making more than 100 appearances for the Tractor Boys after successful spells at QPR and Hull City. He has five caps for the Republic of Ireland.
Delaney said: "I'm really impressed, I've come here this morning seen the training ground and trained for the first time. I knew two or three of the lads so they made me feel welcome straight away. The manager's enthusiasm you can see in his training sessions. That's what I want to get on board with. It just felt right."
