Palace's development side shared the points with Wolves at Selhurst with Jermaine Easter netting against his former club in a 1-1 draw.
The game began slowly and the only action of the opening 15 minutes saw Kandell Daniel fire a free-kick over the bar and Liam McAlinden shoot wide from 25 yards as both sides struggled to find their rhythm.
However the Eagles took the lead in the 20th minute when a defensive mix-up between Zeli Ismail and Michael Ikiekwe was pounced upon by Easter who calmly passed the ball past the helpless Dorus De Vries to net against his former club.
The Welshman came close to doubling his tally six minutes later when he forced De Vries to push the ball around the post, but Wolves kept pressing and Nouble blazed over when through on goal before Anthony Forde's attempted cross clipped the outside of the post.
Palace had the chance to extend their lead on 35 minutes when Easter was brought down in the box by David Davies, and Aaron Wilbraham stepped up to take the spot kick but saw his effort well saved by De Vries.
The striker attempted to make amends with a free-kick minutes later but curled it wide of the post and Reise Allassani stung the palms of De Vries as the home side dictated the game before the half-time whistle.
The visitors started the second half brightly, and after Ismail broke down the right and cut the ball back to McAllinden, the striker saw his shot saved by Price and the rebound fell to Forde who crashed an effort off the crossbar.
McAlinden wasn't to be denied though and after Price did brilliantly to save a piledriver from the Wolves youngster, he finally got his goal when the resulting corner was headed into his path by Forde and he lashed the ball home after 50 minutes.
Wolves looked a completely different side after their half-time team talk and another Forde delivery missed everyone in the box and drifted just wide of the Palace post on 67 minutes, and Ronald Zubar should have tested Price but fired over the bar from inside the box with 10 minutes remaining.
McAlinden curled an effort wide with three minutes left on the clock and a rasping shot from Easter narrowly missed the target in injury time as both sides were forced to settle with a point.
