Crystal Palace are pleased to confirm the signing of defender Jack Hunt from Huddersfield Town on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The young right-back joined Huddersfield as a nine-year-old and spent spells on loan with Grays Athletic and Chesterfield, before breaking into the Terriers’ first team in January 2011.
The 22-year-old made his debut in the 0-0 draw against Colchester and made his first start in the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round.
Hunt went on to appear 44 times in all competitions for Huddersfield last season, as they survived relegation from the Championship on the final day.
He has played four times for the Yorkshire side so far this season, including the 3-2 win over Charlton Athletic in the Capital One Cup last week.
