Irish Pre-Season Test For Eagles

Crystal Palace will travel to the Republic of Ireland to face Waterford United during pre-season as the countdown continues towards the kick-off of the new Premier League season.

The game against The Blues is scheduled for 3rd August, kicking off at 6pm, and with fixtures against Gillingham, Dagenham & Redbridge, Crawley Town and Dulwich Hamlet already scheduled a trip to the Emerald Isle is now also on the agenda for Ian Holloway's side.

Waterford play in the First Division, a league below the top flight of Irish football, but currently sit in third in the table as they hope to claim a place in the League of Ireland next season.

Ticket details will be announced shortly.

The club have also announced an additional couple of U21 friendlies which will take place this summer, with Gary Issot's side taking on Brentford and QPR before the start of the new campaign.
