Right-back Jack Hunt has made a permanent move from Crystal Palace to Sheffield Wednesday for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old didn't make a competitive appearance for the Eagles after signing from Huddersfield Town back in September 2013, and spent time on loan with Barnsley, Nottingham Forest and Rotherham United in recent seasons.

The summer of 2015 brought about another move to his native Yorkshire as he joined the Owls on a season-long loan deal, and after impressing for promotion-chasing Wednesday in his 22 appearances, the Championship club have opted to make the move permanent.

He has signed a three-and-a-half year contract, following in the footsteps offormer Palace teammate Barry Bannan who signed for the club in August.

The club would like to wish Jack all the best in the future.
