Jimmy Kebe is still searching for his first win in a Leeds United shirt as the Whites were beaten 1-0 by table-topping Leicester City on his home debut last Saturday, a game that also saw the first appearance for the Foxes by former-Eagles striker Kevin Phillips.

Elswehere in the Championship Peter Ramage helped Barnsley to a clean sheet as they beat beleaguered Blackpool 2-0 at Oakwell as they attempt to claw themselves from the foot of the table.

Hours after making a loan move to Notts County for the next month, Kwesi Appiah made his debut for the Magpies last night as he came on as a 65th minute substitute at London Road as Peterborough pipped his new side with a 4-3 victory in League One.

Heading into non-league football, Jerome Williams played his first 90 minutes for Forest Green Rovers in an emphatic 6-2 victory against Hyde FC last weekend, and will be hoping to do the same against Chester on Saturday, when Ryan Inniss' Luton Town are also in Conference action at home against Nuneaton.

A league below the Skrill Premier, Alex Wynter and David Gregory will be hoping to play a part in Sutton United's trip to Basingstoke Town this weekend, but Derek Tieku's Hayes and Yeading saw their visit to Dorchester Town abandoned after 35 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch.

Ross Fitzsimons celebrated extending his loan at Hendon by keeping a clean sheet in their 1-0 Isthmian League Premier Division victory against Billericay Town, and faces Lowestoft Town on Saturday looking to improve on their current ninth-placed position.
