Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis has been nominated for the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month award for January.
Pulis led his side to seven points from their four league games during the month, including vital 1-0 wins over Stoke City and Hull City. Their only defeat in that time came against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Welshman will battle it out with Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, Chelsea supremo Jose Mourinho and Sunderland boss Gus Poyet for the prize.
It is Pellegrini who is favourite to scoop the award though, having led the Citizens to four straight Premier League victories during January to close the gap on table-toppers Arsenal.
