Sansom Makes Palace Return

New Palace boss Tony Pulis and play-off final hero Kevin Phillips were just two of the very special guests at the Hilton in Croydon over Wednesday and Thursday nights this week, as hundreds of people attended this season's festive sporting fundraisers for the CPFC Youth Academy.

Palace legend Kenny Sansom was the VIP guest on both nights, regaling stories from his superb career as one of Palace’s ‘Team of the Eighties’, through a long and successful period at Arsenal, and as a member some of England’s most famous World Cup encounters, including the notorious, ‘Hand of God’ quarter final with Argentina at the Azteca Stadium in 1986.

Hosted by MC Barry Williams and with superb stand-up comedy from Jimmy Bright, the two events were hailed as a fitting conclusion to an eventful and successful year.

Crystal Palace would like to extend their gratitude to official time-keeping sponsors, Holler Watches for sponsoring both events, and all proceeds from the two nights’ go to the CPFC youth academy.

The first Sporting Dinner event of 2014 is an exceptional evening with none other than Jimmy Greaves, held at the Croydon Hilton on Thursday, February 27th. Tables for 10 guests are £850 + vat and will be sold on a first come first served basis. A perfect evening to invite colleagues, friends, family or your best clients, this is going to be one night that you won’t want to miss.
