Crystal Palace youngster Ghassimu Sow has joined Finnish side FC Honka on loan.

The Liberian-born midfielder, 19, who made 10 appearances for our development side this season, will spend three months with the club who are managed by former Eagles striker, Shefki Kuqi.

The move presents midfielder Sow with a good opportunity to get first-team football under his belt during the summer, with the Finnish Veikkausliiga still in its early stages.

FC Honka currently lie 5th in the 12-team division, having picked up seven points from their opening five games.

They are already gaining a reputation as the league’s entertainers though, having scored 10 goals and conceded nine during that time.

Keep an eye on cpfc.co.uk over the summer for regular updates on Sow’s progress in Scandinavia.
