Palace’s development side will be eager to regain their form at Tooting and Mitcham FC against Bristol City this afternoon (20th January), having being edged out in their latest U21 match by top of the table Cardiff City last week.

The 2-1 defeat at the hands of Andreas Cornelius’ last gasp winner ended an unbeaten run of four games for Gary Issott’s side as they sit in fifth position in the Barclays Premier Development League 2 South table.

Palace had won three and drawn one of their previous four games, with hot-shot Sullay Kaikai scoring seven goals in his last seven games including a stunning brace in a 2-2 draw against the Robins in December.

However their U21 boss Marc O’Connor, Tony Pulis’ former first team coach at Stoke City, has seen his side lose just once in six games which came in the form of a 2-1 defeat at home to West Ham in the U21 Cup. Palace currently sit above the visitors in the league, although City have four games in hand due to their cup run.

The game at the KNK Stadium kicks off at 1pm and tickets are only available on the gate, priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions (over-60’s and students), while under-18’s go free.

So come on down and support the next generation of Eagles stars!
