The pre-season preparations continued for the club with a 4-0 victory in Ireland against Waterford United.

Changes were made to the side as the game went on including Owen Garvan and Kevin Phillips coming on from the bench as Palace increased their advantage.

With fourteen minutes remaining Dobbie exchanged a neat one two with Gayle and the young striker finished off the move with the second goal of the night.

Two late goals extended the winning margin as Ibra Sekajja capitalising on a defensive error to make it 3-0 after 87 minutes.

Shortly afterwards 23-year-old Swede Osman Sow volleyed home to complete a good nights work to the delight of the 300 travelling Palace fans who had made the trip over to the club who play in the First Division of the League Of Ireland.
