Judgement was given in Crystal Palace Football Club favour in June 2007. Permission to appeal to the court of appeal was given to Iain Dowie in September 2007.

Prior to appeal being heard a mutually satisfactory settlement of all matters has now been reached on terms acceptable to Crystal Palace Football Club.
