Getting There
By Road
Take the A12 to the big roundabout on the A14 junction. Take 2nd exit (sign posted Ipswich West A1214) into London Road. Follow Ipswich A1214 signs for two-and-a-half miles, straight over roundabout to junction at the bottom of the hill. Go straight on to the next set of traffic lights. Turn right and follow the signs to the ground.
Parking
Street parking in the immediate vicinity of the stadium is restricted. But there are plenty of Pay and Display car parks within walking distance of Portman Road
By Train
Ipswich Station is accessible by trains from Liverpool Street
From the station
The ground is about five minutes from the Ipswich station. Out of the station walk over the bridge and past two sets of traffic lights, then turn left into Portman Road.
Before Kick Off
There are two main pubs that can be termed "Away Fan Friendly" and both are within easy walking distance of the station and the ground.
The first is The Railway, aptly named as it is located almost right by the train station, on Foxhall Road. The second is The Drum and Monkey, which is located on Princes Street.
