Posted on: Mon 30 Apr 2012

Company directors, business leaders and members of the region's business community joined Palace's assistant manager Lennie Lawrence for lunch today, as Chief Executive Phil Alexander launched the first Crystal Palace FC Business Club in Speroni's Restaurant at Selhurst Park.

More than 120 people from 75 companies heard special guest speaker Lennie Lawrence deliver a superb key-note speech, whilst Stephen Browett, Palace co-owner and Managing Director of fine wine wholesalers Farr Vintners gave the assembled diners a brief introduction - and taste - of some the finest wines currently on the market.

Commercial Manager Chris Powlson was understandably delighted with the afternoon's events. He said:

"The Business Club has begun in a spectacular fashion. We are delighted that we have been able to invite some of the biggest brands and companies in the region to the club, not only to help them deliver new contacts and new business opportunities but also to show how we have transformed our own facilities in every department, providing superb food, excellent service in state of the art surroundings''

The Business Club is the first of its kind at Crystal Palace, and is open to all local and regional businesses connected to the club. For information on the next Business Club event contact the commercial team on 020 8768 6013 or email: Anna.McCarthy@cpfc.co.uk.
