Tales from the Sky Sports studios, and behind the scenes stories at Blackburn, West Ham, Everton, Fulham and England were the topics of conversation as Sky Sport's Tony Cottee and Tony Gale entertained the hundreds of people who braved the February snow last night to attend the CPFC Sporting Dinner at the Hilton, Croydon.
The event, generously supported by Groundwork and Civil engineering materials specialists Rudridge, saw the former West Ham pair give their expert opinions on the current topics of the day, tales from the changing rooms of the 80s and 90s, and some hilarious anecdotes from their distinguished playing careers.
Hosted as ever by friend of the club and Palace fan, Barry Williams, the guests; including Palace management duo Dougie Freeman and Lennie Lawrence, were also treated to a superb night of comedy courtesey of Ian Richards, one of the funniest comedians on the circuit.

All proceeds raised from the night go the CPFC Youth Academy.
Crystal Palace FC would like to thank Alan Betteridge and Robert Rudd from Rudridge for their continued support, and look forward to the next Sporting Dinner, held in the Marquee On The Pitch on Thursday, May 17th. Full details on the event will be announced later today.
