This afternoon here at Selhurst Park it is Family Day so there is so much more than a 3pm kick-off against Reading.
The club are expecting an attendance of over 18,000 so please remember to arrive at the stadium early not only to take in all the pre-match entertainment but also making admission into the stadium nice and easy for the 3pm start.
The Holmesdale Lower Tier and Croydon Advertiser Family Stand are SOLD OUT and there are now only a limited number of seats in the Holmesdale Upper Tier Stand and Main Stand. Please note the upper tier seats are in The Gallery section.
Children and adults alike will not miss a trick as they have the chance to enjoy a host of entertainment as well as taking advantage of our latest npower Championship encounter.
Our regular Family Day interactive area will commence at 12.30pm through until 2.30pm in the Executive Car Park supported by our main sponsor of the event, Croydon Advertiser and sub sponsor, Spike.
We will also have a some brilliant family fun in the form of a whole host of interactive activities. Both teams will also have their own support of the furry variety with Pete and Alice The Eagle and Reading's very own mascot, Kingsley The Lion who is joining us from Berkshire
There will be plenty of opportunity of taking part in the interactive area with golf, football and boxing just three of the sports to take part in thanks to our friends at 'Fun Is Us'
The Croydon Martial Arts club will also be giving sessions in their workshops in the same area of the stadium.
Our pre-match tribute act, I am Beyonce will be in the stadium performing from 2.25pm and with two more songs at half time.
At half-time we continue the entertainment with a performance from our Academy Under 9s, Palace Ladies Under 10s and the CPFC Foundation who will be showing some practice drills. The popular Palace dancers, the Crystal Girls will be on the pitch during the interval showing us another one of their routines exclusively for the Family Day.
Plus an exclusive chance for five competition winners, in conjunction with the Croydon Advertiser, to take part in a penalty shoot-out in front of the stand sponsored by Croydon's favourite weekly paid for paper and also through match sponsors, Bromley Council we will be having a penalty shoot out with Spike The Mascot.
Please note the Glaziers bar will be open from 12 noon and all other bar areas from 1.30pm when the turnstiles open around the stadium.
Finally, all there is left to do is to sit back and enjoy the full 90 minutes of Championship football that will be on offer as we look forward to another enjoyable day for all the family.
