Neil Warnock was not happy at some of the decisions made by one of the younger referees on duty for this game but also questioned some of the defending by his own side.
"Goals change games and you can't legislate for schoolboy defending. If we defend like that we won't beat anybody."
"I don't enjoy losing - I've still gone in to see the ref tonight and tried to educate him, they were conning fouls but he is a young referee and will learn as he goes on. I have said for a few years to Keith Hackett that it would be good to get ex players training referees and giving them advice."
After some comments on the game the subject soon came around to that of the manager's future.
The media once again raised the subject of speculation linking the boss with a move away from Selhurst Park but nothing is known until a meeting with the administrator has taken place.
"I'm not going to comment on this ior what has already been said by the administrator. I'll be speaking to him tomorrow morning, I haven't spoken to him for a while so until I meet up with him I haven't got a clue about that."
