Paul Hart told the official site that he will be sending his team out for the win at Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday even though only a draw is required.
"I don't think you can play for the draw. You have to go and play to win. We don't have to win but our away form is excellent so it's a game to look forward to. We just have to turn out another performance of that calibre. We are in a better position that Sheffield Wednesday and so we have to make it count.
"The players are tired. They threw everything at it. But they can see we've got a good chance of staying up."
The disappointment from the night was a red card for Neil Danns against a quality side who have already won promotion to the top flight.
"I saw the tackle. I didn't see the melee, But he's an extremely good player and would be a miss for any side.
"We set out to win the game against an extremely good West Brom side. I felt we continued that approach from start to finish and we were unlucky at the end."
The club are close to selling out their allocation for the match at Sheffield and once again Monday night saw a great show of support from the stands.
"We had fantastic support, which is a tribute to a great football club."
