English fans are now going to be given the opportunity to watch the Palace USA squad in their first appearance in the UK when Jim and Pete bring their squad for a training visit and a showcase match at Selhurst Park. The first international break of the season this weekend will see Peter Taylor field his side against their American counterparts this Friday (kick-off 8.00pm).

The Crystal Palace USA squad have recently finished their inaugural season which saw them just miss out on the play-offs in the USL Division Two.

This was a great achievement for the management team of Jim Cherneski and Pete Medd as the club name hit the headlines on the other side of the pond and they finished with an excellent run of just two defeats in 16 matches.

The match will have a traditional American feel to it with the national anthems of both countries prior to the game, American Footballers present and from the world of basketball, Chicago Bulls star Luol Deng will be coming along to enjoy the night.

Join in this great evening of fun with entertainment to befit the occasion, as the stars and stripes come to SE25. It promises to be a historic occasion with all proceeds going to the Crystal Palace FC Academy, so make sure you're here to see it! 

From 5.30pm there will be a fun interactive area in the Main Car Park to ensure this is a great evening for all the family.
