Clinton Morrison's status as a striker whose contribution goes beyond scoring goals has been confirmed after he achieved a place in the Top 20 of the Actim Index.
The 28-year-old has hit 10 goals in 12 league games to put him joint-third in the list of top marksmen in the 2007/08 Championship.
But it is Morrison's hard work off the ball - his defensive contribution and link-up play - that has distinguished his present run to previous purple patches in his career.
The Republic of Ireland international got the second highest Actim score of the week with 40 points and a goal in the 3-0 win at Wolves, the top marks for a striker during the last seven days, which saw the frontman climb nine places in the standings to 15th overall.
Morrison is Palace's top-ranked player with 354 points - but is still 74 behind Index leader Jon Walters of Ipswich.
Strike-partner James Scowcroft moved up 29 places to 26th - the 9th ranked striker - after earning 32 points at Molineux. Julian Speroni's outstanding form between the sticks has also propelled him to the fifth highest ranked goalkeeper.
