Crystal Palace Race Day A Runaway Success

On Monday this week players, the management team and corporate guests of Crystal Palace converged on a breezy but sunny Lingfield Park Race Course in Surrey for the ever popular Crystal Palace Race Day.
As is usual on the club's Race days our corporate guests sponsored all eight races, the first three being on Lingfield's all weather polytrack with the final 5 races contested on the straight, turf course. During lunch the on-course tipster gave everyone in attendance the run down on the afternoon's racing with his tips for those who fancied a flutter.
As the afternoon progressed the players and manager, Neil Warnock, mingled and posed for photographs with our guests and shared the odd tip or two. Judging by the mixture of cheers and tears at the finishing line, success was truly mixed.
As the afternoon's racing continued, guests enjoyed tea and welcomed Palace keeper Julian Speroni who drew the raffle tickets for prizes that included signed Palace shirts and balls and Executive Boxes for forthcoming matches at Selhurst Park.
As the sun began to set behind the beautiful Surrey countryside, our guests left the course with tales of winners, losers and a truly fantastic day of Racing and Hospitality with Crystal Palace F C.
