Lions On Top
Academy products Lee Hills and Victor Moses helped England U19's pick all three points as they beat Albania 3-0.
The European Championship Preliminary Tournament held in Northern Ireland yesterday afternoon got off to a blistering start when Manchester United's Danny Drinkwater opened the scoring after six minutes, whilst Aston Villa's Nathan Delfouneso doubled the lead six minutes before half-time.
Going into the break at Coleraine FC's ground the young Lions held a two nil lead and their opponents did not look like getting back into the encounter.
Despite the intense pressure in the second half, another goal did not appear until the 78th minute. Arsenal's Henri Lansbury was the player who put the game beyond doubt with his header from inside the box.
England Coach Brian Eastwick revealed his delight in a performance which sent his team to the top of the table.

"We pretty much dominated the game from start to finish and Albania went for damage limitation in the second half by putting everyone behind the ball.
He added: "It was a slow pitch and we couldn't zip the ball around as much as we wanted to but it was a good team performance, plus we were delighted for Danny Drinkwater. He scored a decent goal and moved the ball around beautifully all afternoon.
England are back in action this Friday when they take on hosts Northern Ireland at Linfield FC.
