Legends Shirts Help To Raise Over £1500
The 14 Palace Legends official signed shirts have now all sold on popular auction website eBay and have raised a fantastic £1,525.31.
The shirts were auctioned off in support of the CPFC Community Sports Trust's Give the Red Card to Knife Crime campaign, with 100% of the proceeds raised going straight to the charity.
The campaign was set up earlier this year to raise awareness in the local London boroughs about the dangers of knife crime and the effect it has on not only the direct victims, but also on the families and friends who are forced to live with it long after the incident.
And now, with the demand for these shirts so high Crystal Palace is delighted to announce another Legends shirts auction with a new series of names to go under the hammer.
These new shirts are all unsigned, but are official Legends shirts that include the specially embroidered inscription, player name and number.
The new shirts are those produced for Chris Powell (No.3), Tony Popovic (No.18), Vince Hilaire (No.20), Andy Woodman (No.13), Wayne Routledge (No.14), Bobby Bowry (No.26), Peter Taylor (No.16), Gary O'Reilly (No.33) and Ian Wright (No.10).
All of these, apart from the Andy Woodman and Bobby Bowry shirts, are unworn and will go onto eBay on Wednesday 29th April, with 100% of the proceeds going straight to the Give the Red Card to Knife Crime campaign.
The auctions will last for seven days.
The CPFC Community Sports Trust is a registered charity on 'eBay for Charity'.
