Crystal Palace is delighted to announce that two of the Academy players could be lining up for England and Wales respectively this summer at Under 17 level.

Jonathan Williams has been called up to the Welsh Under 17 squad to compete in a four nations tournament in Falkenberg, Sweden, from the 11th July to the 19th July. The nine day trip will see the Welsh youngsters play Iceland, Norway and hosts Sweden.

Meanwhile, 2008/09 Academy Player Of The Year Alex Wynter (pictured) has been put on the standby for the England U17 team tour to Norway from the 23rd July to the 3rd August.

Academy Manager David Moss praised the call ups and said "It is great for the club and the individuals who have achieved the call ups to their respective international squads and I am sure the players will learn a lot from the experience."
