You Can Help Fuel The Club's Future

Posted on: Fri 07 Aug 2009

The success story of the Crystal Palace Academy is known throughout football with many of our youngsters making the step into the Championship over the last couple of seasons. We never stand still with our success stories and we are pleased to announce that we are launching a new rewards scheme which can see you, the Palace fan, playing a major part in moving the story onto the next level.

In association with Texaco we are starting a new Stars' Rewards scheme which will give you the opportunity of raising money for the academy and playing your part in the future your the club.

All you need to do is make sure that when calling into a petrol station for the weekly fuel you choose a texaco station. Each time you pay you will earn Stars' that will convert into funds - every pound you spend means one star - the amount will just grow each time you pay a visit to a texaco garage. Remember its not just about your purchase but with so many Palace fans gaining Stars' rewards we can all make such a difference.

In addition each month there will be a fantastic prize for the fan that collects the most Stars'. It could be a behind the scenes look at a training session with the first team or VIP day out at a Palace game of your choice.

Crystal Palace F.C. vice-chairman, Dominic Jordan told the official website how excited he is with this new scheme for the future of the academy. "We are delighted to have partnered with Texaco on this exciting project and welcome them as our main sponsor for the under 18's. With this sponsorship we have an affinity scheme where supporters can really get involved with the Academy and very easily sponsor an Academy Scholarship."

Texaco now become the official sponsors of our academy and the under 18 side's shirts will show the name of Texaco on the front when they are playing in the FA Premier Academy League and the FA Youth Cup throughout the season.

Mandy Hodson, Brand Manager at Chevron, who own the Texaco brand, said: "We are excited to be launching our Texaco Star Rewards Group Loyalty scheme with Crystal Palace Youth Academy. Youth development is crucial to the future success of the club and we are delighted to be able to offer Eagles fans the opportunity to support the academy just by filling up at Texaco stations."

Don't forget to swipe your card every time you buy something at a Texaco service station - the more you swipe the more the academy will benefit.

Further details of this exciting initative will be available shortly including a website will be launched which will give you all you need to know about this Stars Reward scheme.
