Simon Thomas managed to bag himself a goal on his return to Boreham Wood as Palace began their pre-season in brilliant form.

The striker, who moved to Palace from the non-league side last summer scored the final goal in a convincing 4-0 win.

The other goals were scored by trialist Goran Maric, Johannes Ertl and Kieran Djilali as Palace quickly moved into a 3-0 lead before half time.
