Pre-Season: Bromley FC 0-1 Crystal Palace
An Alassane N'Diaye strike midway through the second half was enough to give Palace their second consecutive win on the road in pre-season as they left Hayes Lane with a 1-0 win.
New signing Stern John was included in the starting line-up and headed up the Palace attack with Freddie Sears and Victor Moses offering support on either flank.
There were also starts for midfield trio Neil Danns, Nick Carle and Shaun Derry, with the back four made up of Clint Hill, Patrick McCarthy, Jose Fonte and Nathaniel Clyne.
Palace controlled much of the game, as expected, but Bromley came close in the second half with a shot that struck the top of Julian Speroni's crossbar, while the Eagles hit the woodwork themselves in the first half through Danns.
The midfielder capitalised on a loose ball in the box to smash a volley from 15 yards that thundered against the crossbar and out for a corner.
But the Eagles claimed the win midway through the second period when N'Diaye managed to get the slightest of touches from a long throw in from the right and the ball trickled past the keeper to eventually nestle in the far corner.
Exclusive highlights of the win will be available next week on the Palace Player.
