Mick Jones has confirmed that Neil Danns and Danny Butterfield are still doubts ahead of the Aston Villa game.

Both Danns (back) and Butterfield (hamstring) missed out in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Coventry City at Selhurst Park, and the Palace Assistant Manager revealed that both are racing against time to be fit enough for the FA Cup Fifth Round Replay, but will not be risked with Doncaster Rovers only three days later.

"Dannsy will do some light training today (Monday) and step it up a bit more tomorrow assuming there is no reaction to his back problem.

"Butts is in a similar situation with his hamstring and is doing the same rehab as Dannsy. They will be both monitored but we have to be aware of the game at Doncaster next Saturday as there is little time for recovery."
