This latest game for Palace, as the side continued their pre-season preparations, finished goalless against Bromley although George Burley's side held the advantage throughout and had a number of chances to win the game.

Palace started the match well and had some good early chances with the pick of them coming from Darren Ambrose and Neil Danns

On 20 minutes Ambrose saw an effort go just wide of the target and minutes later Neil Danns tried his luck with an ambitious overhead kick but that went narrowly wide.

Bromley's pick of their first half chances was a shot from Leon McKenzie, his shot though didn't trouble Lewis Price in the Palace goal though as the effort went wide.

There were another good set of chance for Palace and the side must have left the field for the interval wondering how they hadn't managed to break the deadlock.  Claude Davis hitting the crossbar was the pick of a selection of late chances to close the the half.

Burley made a number of changes at the break but this didn't unsettle his side and they still held the upper hand. On the hour mark Kasim had a chance cleared off the line and the ball fell to Wilfried Zaha but he just failed to put away the chance.
