The Price Is Right
Crystal Palace have signed goalkeeper Lewis Price on a two year contract. The 26 year old has been training with the club in pre-season and has appeared in some of the friendly games over the last couple of weeks.
He graduated through the Ipswich Town youth system and during the 2004/05 season broke into the Town first team. After just making just over 70 appearances for the Suffolk based club he joined Premier League outfit Derby County in 2007 but has also spent time out on loan at Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Luton and Brentford during his career.
He has made six full appearances for the Wales national side since his international debut against Cyprus.
Lewis spoke to the official website just after completing the deal and was pleased to be joining the club. "I am absolutely made up. There is a good set of lads here. When I came down on trial I settled in quite easily and I just wanted to sign from day one.
