Kieran Djilali was the first of the breakthrough youngsters during the 08/09 campaign when he was brought on as a substitute against Burnley in August.
He has since struggled to find a regular place in the starting line up, and has used loan spells at Crawley and Chesterfield to gain invaluable first team experience before returning to Selhurst in January to fight for his position.
Pace is a major part of his game, while his quick feet and close control help him to use that pace to take on defenders.
