Jack signed professional terms with the club in April 2010 after impressing alongside Jerry Nnamani in the Under 18s. As a centre half pairing they actually conceded the least amount of goals in the country that year.
Tall, powerfully built and a calm head under pressure has marked Jack out as one of the brightest prospects in the club's academy ranks, and his form towards the end of the 2009/10 season warranted spots on the bench against Cardiff City and Preston North End.
He finished off a successful year by picking up the Scholar Player of the Year and Vice Presidents' Young Player of the Year at the 2010 Player of the Season Awards.
Last season saw Jack start on the bench for the first league game of the season at home to Leicester City with two more appearances on the bench to follow, in the League Cup against Yeovil Town and Portsmouth. Jack made a loan move to Eastbourne Borough in the second half of the season before it was cut short due to injury.
Jack signed a new two year contract in March 2011.
