So many in the crowd on the opening weeks of the season have been season ticket holders after an excellent response from supporters at various times since they went on sale and the CPFC 2010 consortium would like to thank you all for your excellent response since they took over the club.

George Burley saw how a Selhurst atmosphere for a home manager can mean so much in a league game for the first time as 9000 season ticket holders took their place to cheer the boys on from the first whistle. Now he is looking for more to take advantage of the great prices which are available and he has a target in mind.

"The response from the supporters in recent weeks has been marvellous to see and hear for myself and to get the news that we have hit 9000 season ticket holders has really given us all a lift. As always in football we have targets and now we want to go for 10,000 and I know that if everyone spreads the word we can move on and hit the figure. Can I please ask those that haven't renewed to call or visit the box office and turn that application into your own seat at Selhurst for the remainder of the season."
