Harrisburg City Islanders 1-3 Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace finished their US tour with a 3-1 victory in the first ever football match at Lancaster's Clipper Stadium
In the opening minutes of the first half, Islanders' veterans, Steve Fisher and Mo Odour failed to capitalise on opportunities in the box as both teams looked to settle into a rhythm.
Palace opened the scoring in the 34th minute when Freddie Sears maneuvered past his defender and drilled a shot that slid past Islanders' keeper Tomer Chencinski and into the back of the net.
The Eagles struck again three minutes later from a free kick by midfielder Darren Ambrose from 20 yards out.
The win was sealed three minutes later when Neil Danns converted a Danny Butterfield cross with a thumping header from eight yards out.
The Islanders made a host of changes at half time and those fresh legs paid off when three second half substitutions teamed up for their consolation goal.
In the 69th minute, Jason Pelletier laid the ball off to Chad Severs who slipped it to Brandon Swartzendruber. Swartzendruber took a shot and put the ball in the back of the net to make the score 3-1.
