Edmund Goodman signed Albert Harry from amateur side Kingstonian after being impressed with the centre-forward in the summer of 1921- Harry played in the final eight matches of the 1921/22 Division Two season.
In the early days of his Palace career, Harry's position switched to outside right, due to his pace and technical ability with both feet.
Harry scored 53 league goals for the club in a career which saw him make 440 appearances - a club-record for over 30 years.
In August 1934 he left the Glaziers, the only Football League club for which he was to appear.
