The four-time Player of the Season's first campaign with the Eagles may well have ended in relegation but upon his departure, Palace were heading for their seventh consecutive year of Premier League football in his 15th at the club.

Speroni was rewarded for his goalkeeping record-breaking 405 appearances with a testimonial match at Selhurst Park against Dundee on 26th May, 2015.

The shot-stopper also kept a club-record 112 clean sheets, including in both legs of the 2013 play-off semi-final and then the resulting final against Watford to win his first promotion to the Premier League.
