"It sounds weird, but I just waited for the wedding to be done and dusted! After that it was literally have a quick holiday and get back into it [training]."
Dougie Freedman has highlighted what is expected of his players over the summer in regards to fitness and Moxey is finding it great preparation ahead of pre-season.

He was unfortunately hampered by injury last time round however a fantastic end to the season has given him a raring hunger to get going ahead of the new campaign.
"It was really frustrating last year, and touch wood I can stay injury free during pre-season and carry on (where I left off)."
Summer marks change as well as a break, and Moxey took the time to wish former Palace forward Sean Scannell the best of luck with his move to Huddersfield.
"It'll be a good move for him. It's a big step in his career, he's moving away from London, his family and friends; it could go either way for him but he's a good talent and he'll do well."
Joel Ward is one of the new faces brought in over the summer at Selhurst Park and the left back believes he'll fit right in.
"Joel (has) proved himself at Portsmouth and other places. It'll great to get back to pre-season, meet all the new lads and make them feel welcome."
