Brighton: Updated Police Message

29 November 2012

We would like to make Crystal Palace F.C. supporters aware of the following information regarding the CPFC v Brighton game at 3pm on Saturday 1st December.

As agreed at a meeting held last night between Crystal Palace F.C. and Croydon Police Football Unit the following details have been announced re Palace supporters exiting the stadium on Saturday.

After listening to CPFC fans and wishing to provide further clarity, there are no plans at this current time, to hold back CPFC fans after the game.

To assist you in planning your journey home and to facilitate a safe and speedy egress of supporters away from the ground, CPFC fans exiting from Holmesdale Road will not be able to turn left into Park Road at the end of the game. Similarly, CPFC fans will not be able to access Park Road from Whitehorse Lane. CPFC fans with seats in the Arthur Wait Stand will be able to leave the ground through exit 4 (E4) in Park road and gain access into Holmesdale Road.

This measure will be for the minimum amount of time as is required to police the crowds effectively.

Any further updates may be provided on match day via Twitter @MPSCroydon.

Thank you in anticipation of your support and understanding.

Please keep checking for updates on this through the week.
