The CPFC Foundation hosted the first event in a national tour to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Army FA.
Held at the Sutton Life Centre, foundation staff were joined by the London Regiment, Royal Yeomanry and 151 Tpt Regiment, three of the most prominent army units in London.
Activities included army street soccer challenges and the chance for children and young people to take a closer look at army vehicles as well as learn about career opportunities in the army.
Major Peter Conn, of the Army Football Association and Chairman of Army Football Referees, said: "The role of the club’s foundation cannot be underestimated, we hope that this is the beginning of a long relationship with Crystal Palace FC. Good luck as you begin your Premier League campaign."
