Preview: Dulwich Hamlet v Palace

6 August 2013

Crystal Palace make the short trip to Dulwich this evening for their final away fixture in a busy pre-season schedule. Ian Holloway's men have won three of their four warm-up matches so far, with their only defeat coming at Crawley Town on 27th July.

The Eagles have strong links with the Isthmian League Premier Division outfit, with the likes of Ian Wright, Alan Pardew, George Ndah, Leon Cort and Quade Taylor going on to represent Palace having previously played for Dulwich Hamlet.

Dulwich will go into tonight's match full of confidence, having already notched up wins over League Two side Dagenham and Redbridge and a Huddersfield Town XI during their pre-season schedule. They edged past Bromley 2-1 in their last outing on Saturday, as they prepare for life in a higher level after winning the Isthmian League Division One South last season.

Palace will take a blend of youth and experience with them to Champion Hill for their final away trip of pre-season. There are no new knocks or injury concerns for manager Ian Holloway following the 4-0 win at Waterford United in Ireland on Saturday.

Trialists Osman Sow and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie could also feature again for the Eagles as they bid to win permanent contracts at Selhurst Park, while Kagisho Dikgacoi is set to make his second pre-season appearance of the summer.

Tickets for tonight's match at Champion Hill will be available to buy on the gates. They are priced at £10 for adults and £4 for concessions.

Champion Hill Stadium is based on Edgar Kail Way, in East Dulwich.

The ground is around a 25-minute journey from Selhurst Park by car, or a 20-minute train ride from Selhurst station. The closest train station is East Dulwich, which is a couple of minutes' walk away from the stadium.
