Derek Kevan - In Memory

Former Palace player and West Brom legend Derek Kevan passed away yesterday evening.

A former England international whose main playing career was with West Bromwich Albion, Derek came to Palace from Manchester City in the summer of 1965, after being signed by Dick Graham to replace centre-forward Cliff Holton.
Unfortunately Derek could not replicate his prolific goalscoring from the top flight in Division Two and left Palace for Peterborough United in March 1966 two months after Graham had been dismissed as manager.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
