Following the success of this year’s home and away strips, designed by Palace fans for Palace fans, the club are now well underway with our plans to have a CPFC replica shirt library to be displayed at Selhurst Park .
There are so many parts of a club that help to make up its history, each team has its legends, nicknames and memorable matches but a club shirt holds resonance with every fan, big or small.
In view of that, the club would like to hear from any supporters who have Palace shirts that they would like to donate to the club to help make up this library that will become a feature of the club at the stadium.
There have been many different designs over the years and we all have our favourites, with each shirt bringing back special memories of an era watching our club.
Whether it’s from the 60s, 70s, 80s or those famous FA Cup or ZDS Cup final shirts at the start of the 90s, they all make up a big part of the club’s history and we want you to be a part of that. Every shirt will be framed and the fan who donates the shirt will be credited in the framing.
We would also be very interested to hear from fans who may have the actual playing shirts worn by players before the replica era.
If you would be interested in donating your shirt to the club please e-mail Ian King , the CPFC historian ,at Ian.firstname.lastname@example.org with details of the shirt, its condition and its age and Ian will be in contact with further details .
