Crystal Palace can confirm that Jason Banton has joined MK Dons on a six-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old winger has moved to the League One outfit on a temporary contract, which runs until 5th January 2014.
Banton made his senior Palace debut against Stoke in the FA Cup third round in January this year, before being sent out on loan to Plymouth, where he scored six goals in 14 appearances.
He was recalled from his loan spell in April by Eagles boss Ian Holloway, after picking up the League Two Player of the Month award for March. But the pacey wide man failed to feature for Palace during the club’s promotion run-in.
And Banton has now linked up with Karl Robinson’s side, who are among the favourites to gain promotion to the Championship this season.
Palace have given Banton permission to play in both the Capital One Cup and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy for MK Dons this season, but he will not feature in the FA Cup.
