Live TV Fixtures Announced

11 July 2013

Crystal Palace Football Club’s opening fixture of the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season against Tottenham Hotspur has been chosen for live television coverage.

The Eagles’ first top flight match in eight seasons has been switched to a 1.30pm kick-off on Sunday 18th August, to launch Sky Sports’ Super Sunday coverage for the season.

Our second home game of the campaign, against Paolo Di Canio’s Sunderland, has also been selected by Sky Sports for broadcast.

That match will still take place on the original date of Saturday 31st August, with the kick-off time pushed back to 5.30pm.

Following a two-week international break, Palace will be in front of the BT Sport cameras for the first time, as they travel to reigning Premier League champions Manchester United.

The fixture at Old Trafford, which could see Wilfried Zaha play against his former Palace teammates, has been moved forward to a 12.45pm kick-off on Saturday 14th September.

It means that three of Crystal Palace’s opening four Barclays Premier League fixtures will be shown live on British television.

The club’s first appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football slot will come on 21st October, in a London derby against Fulham, which kicks off at 8pm.

And Ian Holloway’s men will be given more air time just five days later, with the home game against Arsenal on Saturday 26th October moved forward to 12.45pm by BT Sport.

Here is a full list of Crystal Palace fixtures that have been chosen for live television coverage:
