Crystal Palace midfielder Alex Marrow has joined Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old returns to Ewood Park, having started his career there as a trainee, before moving to Palace in January 2011.
Marrow never made a first-team appearance for Rovers during his first spell in Lancashire, but will be re-united with former reserve team coach Gary Bowyer, who is now manager of the Championship side.
The midfielder spent loan spells with Oldham and Palace, before signing permanently for the Eagles. He made 18 appearances during the temporary stint in SE25 and went on to appear on 11 more occasions in red and blue after penning a permanent deal.
Marrow was limited to four appearances for Ian Holloway's side in the Championship last season, after spending six months on loan at League Two outfit Fleetwood Town.
Crystal Palace would like to thank Alex for his service and commitment to the club, since joining in January 2011. We wish him all the best for the future.
