Crystals Are Glad All Over!

4 June 2013

Crystal Palace Football Club's cheerleaders have launched a new video to celebrate the club's promotion to the Barclays Premier League.

The Crystal Girls have again joined forces with the ROAR of the Jacksonville Jaguars to record their own version of 'Glad All Over', in honour of the Eagles' Championship Play-Off Final victory over Watford last month.

The Crystals were unable to dance at Wembley before the big game, but vowed to release a new video if their team clinched promotion back to English football's top tier after an eight year absence.

And following the memorable 1-0 victory on 27th May, the girls got busy on planning and shooting the new video - which took just one week to put together.

The ROAR, who were in London to shoot their 2014 calendar, met up with the Crystal Girls while they were recording their version of 'Glad All Over', in south London.

The Crystals' latest video comes on the back of their YouTube sensations, 'Call Me Maybe' and 'Gangnam Style', which received millions of hits on the social media channel.

The girls have collaborated with the ROAR before, dancing at games along with the Jaguars’ mascot, Jaxson De Ville, who was a big hit at Selhurst Park with the Crystal Palace fans performing his trademark high-energy routines.
