Palace Player subscribers have voted Kwesi Appiah's thumping half-volley against Manchester City as their Goal of the Month for March.
The 22 year old becomes the first development player to scoop the monthly prize after polling the highest number of votes from Eagles fans for his winner against City in a game that Palace won 4-3.
Having fallen 2-0 and 3-2 behind, a second half strike by Kadell Daniel, another contender for March's award, had pulled Palace level again but Appiah's thunderbolt effort from a long ball flew over the City keeper and into the net to clinch a stunning victory for the under 21s.
On his winning strike, Appiah said: "I'm grateful to get the award as it was a nice strike. The ball kept coming over my head all game and when this one came down I thought 'this is the one' so I took my time and struck it sweet enough and it went in.
"Playing in the development has been fun and a great experience and it's always good to be scoring goals and get some game time as well. I've been in and amongst the goals this season and fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time to put them away."
